Mrs. Lynne E. Tejeda, General Manager & CEO, has been employed by the utility since January 1989, most recently as Assistant General Manager & COO, prior to being appointed General Manager & CEO in December 2005. Mrs. Tejeda is responsible for the day-to-day management of the utility, implementing the decisions of the Utility Board with respect to utility operations, and keeping the Board informed of the status of the utility. Mrs. Tejeda is active in the Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) and the Florida Municipal Electric Association (FMEA). She currently serves as the President of FMEA. Mrs. Tejeda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Journalism, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Mrs. Tejeda is currently serving on the Boards of the Key West Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of Monroe County. |
| Mr. John ‘Jack’ Wetzler, Assistant General Manager
& CFO, has been employed by the utility since April 1992, most
recently as Director of Finance and CFO, prior to being appointed Assistant
General Manager & CFO in December 2005. Mr. Wetzler is responsible for
assisting the General Manager & CEO with the day-to-day operations of
the utility as well as overseeing Finance, Customer Services, Generation
, Fleets, Facilities, Purchasing and the Warehouse. He is active in the
Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) serving on the Financial Advisory
Committee, Budget Committee and Operating Committee. Mr. Wetzler has been
employed as the Vice President of Finance for several New York-based firms,
including Caswell Massey, Ltd., D.F. Sanders & Company, and Concord
Limousine Services. He began his career with Coopers & Lybrand, CPA’s
(currently known as PricewaterhouseCoopers). Mr. Wetzler holds a Bachelor
of Business Administration degree from Hofstra University. Mr. Wetzler's
interests include home renovation, is co owner of Millie's Key West, a convenience
store near Mallory Square in Key West, and serves as an Extra-Ordinary Eucharistic
Minister for Saint Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church. |
| Mr. Dale Z. Finigan, Director of Engineering and System Control
Center, has been employed by the utility since May 1987. In his
tenure at KEYS, Mr. Finigan has held various supervisory positions related
to substations and the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) system.
In his current position, Mr. Finigan is responsible for both the Engineering
Section (oversees the design/maintenance of the utility's electrical T&D
infrastructure), and the System Control Center (24-hour a day manned control
center for the monitoring of the utility's electrical grid, and the dispatching
of system trouble calls). Mr. Finigan holds a Bachelor of Science degree
in Electrical Engineering, and a Masters Degree in Electrical Power Systems,
with a minor in Engineering Management . Both degrees are accredited from
the University of South Florida. |
Mr. Edward Garcia, Director of Generation, has been employed by the utility since October 1987, most recently as Environmental/Safety Officer, prior to being appointed Director of Generation in October 2007. Mr. Garcia is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of nine generation units capable of producing a total of 132 megawatts. Mr. Garcia is a Certified Public Manager, and has previously served on the Safety Committees for the Florida Municipal Electric Association and Florida Municipal Power Agency and as Secretary for the Florida Electric Production Safety Committee.

| Mrs. Suzanne Greager, Director of Management Services,
has been employed by the utility since March 1985, most recently as Director
Human Resources since October 1996, prior to being appointed Director of
Management Services in April 2002. Mrs. Greager is responsible for overseeing
KEYS human resources administration for its 158 employees and 124 retirees,
KEYS Rules and Regulations administration, employee and retiree records
administration, administration of KEYS IBEW-Local 1990 Collective Bargaining
Agreement, risk management functions, workers compensation, safety, training,
environmental, compliance and grants. Mrs. Greager is a Certified Public
Manager through Florida State University. Mrs. Greager is President-Elect
of the Local Florida Keys Society for Human Resources Management and a member
of the Key West Noon Rotary. |
| Mr. David Price, Director of Transmission and Distribution,
has been employed by the utility since January 1983, most recently as Assistant
Director of Electrical Operations, prior to being appointed Director of
Transmission and Distribution in June 2005. Mr. Price is responsible for
the operation, construction, and maintenance of transmission, distribution,
and substation facilities. Mr. Price holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with
a major in Human Resources, from Saint Leo’s University and is a Certified
Public Manager. |
| Mr. Stanley Rzad, Compliance Administrator, has been
employed by the utility since January 1991, most recently as Director of
Administration, Compliance, and Internal Policies, prior to being appointed
Compliance Administrator in September 2005. Mr. Rzad is responsible for
overseeing compliance with all of the utility’s policies and procedures.
He is also responsible for the purchasing section, including contracts and
agreements. Additionally, he coordinates the preparation and availability
of Utility Board agenda item documents. Mr. Rzad has been employed as a
Controller by both the Schlegal Corp. and the City of Altus, Oklahoma, and
as a Manager of Accounting Services for Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority.
Mr. Rzad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University
of Michigan and a master of Business Administration degree from Seton Hall
University. Mr. Rzad is a Certified Public Manager. Mr. Rzad is president
of Crimestoppers of the Florida Keys, on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters
of Monroe County, and member of the Key West Sunrise Rotary of the Conch
Republic. |
| Mr. Alex Tejeda, Director of Customer Services, has been
employed by the utility since June 1982, most recently as Customer Services
Superintendent, prior to being appointed Director of Customer Services in
April 2002. Mr. Tejeda is responsible for Collections, Customer Services,
Customer Programs, and Meter Services. Mr. Tejeda is a Certified Public
Manager. |
